your problem must be the browser…I’ve been trying to replicate your problem with safari/ie7/firefox/chrome and it’s all ok.
Thanks fore you quick reply, I have tried too with FF and its ok,(it messes up in IE) however, Ive changed the theme A LOT (third Style)and last night I deleated the theme, Reinstaled it in its original form and it was OK,
I kept a copy of my alterations and when I changed it back again it was playing upagain and it took so long to make all the changes (because i dont know the first thing about php) That I´m not looking forward to spending the next few christmas days going through it all again) is there a theme, with just a page and sidebar, No header, so i can create the look I want without tring to resize all the areas,
on another note, in another site im building using buddypress, in the bp sliding login. FF doesn,t show the login panal on the right hand side, it shows the register & lost password bit but not login AE is ok.

I was mistaken it does mess up in both FF & IE
Ive tried it on two more pcs and it reacts the same, on IE & FF
