    Hi,
I’m completely new to all this and am struggling to figure out where i’ve gone wrong or why it’s happening.

I created a wordpress.com site and then realised that actually i wanted to have a wordpress.org site. So i bought hosting with justhost.com and went through their application to create a wordpress.org site, transferring the data across etc.

The issue is when i log onto my site http://adventuremummy.com i see the correct .org version with the right dashboard etc. But when i asked someone else to check, they get the old wordpress.com version.

Without being too technical or breaking it down in to idiot type steps, do you know what the issue is?

  • When did you change the nameserver settings? It can take up to 72 hours for the change to propagate through the internet.

Ah ok, maybe that’s it then, i’ve been tinkering with everything for a few days now, and i know i played around with those this morning.

So hopefully my site should be accessible for all to see by the weekend.

Thanks for your fast response and i’ll be sure to come back if the site isn’t working 🙂

Did you get it worked out? Did it worked after changing DNS settings?

    Hi Vicky,

Yes, it’s now working and showing the correct site.

Thanks very much…just a case of me being impatient 🙂
