I moved all contents of the unzipped WordPress directory (excluding the directory itself) into the root directory of my web server and installed wordpress.
Problem: I can access wp-admin to post, edit, and publish, but when I try to "view site" or access site from browser it still appears to be parked. Can anyone be a hero and help me reslove this? :/

Is there an index.htm or index.html file on your server in the same directory?
If so, try renaming it to old_index.html or deleting it.
You'll see that your site is working if you go to http://scriptleak.com/index.php
