The issue you’re reporting here is actually a problem in the codebase on our end. We released a patch that should have addressed it in The Events Calendar 3.0.3, which was released a few days ago. Have you tried upgrading to verify if the issue persists?

Your theme uses a script called yaselect which is conflicting here. There may be a means of either indicating elements for it to ignore or conversely it might be possible to channel it more specifically.
Could definitely be worth checking in with the theme author for further advice on that one. If he is able to suggest for instance that elements to be ignored can be marked with a certain CSS class, for instance, and you need our help then definitely get back to us and if we can help we will.

Yes, barry is correct. you could also try out hiding all the yaselect funk in the bar by using a tribe specific parent class, just tested and that would work. that is hacky but quick relief until the author possibly makes a change.
