Video Game Info

Hello,

I am looking to do something that I am sure that many may have asked but no one has attempted, but not sure where to start, so I am asking if someone with some experience can point me in the right way

The info I want is to be able to link each video games with a certain post. I would like the authors to be able to pick the game through a drop down list and then it would show up either in the post or on the sidebar next to the post.

The info I would like to show is
Game Title
Box Art
Publisher
Developer
Release Date
Genre
Links to screens and videos.
Price: (possibly a link to a place of purchase)
Box Art

Is this possible to do this through the custom fields or do I need to build a whole new plugin? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am committed to this project and anyone else who maybe interested in contributing I would like to hear from. Maybe this has already been done and I just have not found it. If has been done, I would like to check it out. I feel this is an important for the growth of my business
