   I am working on a site that has been transferred from wordpress.com.

   After importing content everything shows up just fine except video embeds from anywhere - youtube, vimeo, etc.

   In the posts they just come up as something like [youtube=http://videolinks.com]

   I have searched in vain to find a plugin that can convert these over for me to no avail.

   Any way to do this quickly and easily?

   Use a plugin like Search RegEx to be able to search through all posts and pages and delete the shortcode so the link stands alone for auto embedding: http://codex.wordpress.org/Embeds
