• I uploaded video embedder by Kristoffer Forsgren. It’s now activated on my wordpress. I went to the Options/video embedder to get more info. It says to put the following in the editor section (I want to upload a quick time video from my desktop for a post on my blog)

    Quicktime help instructions

For Quicktime files, enclose the URL

Type [quicktime]http://www.yoursite.com/path/file.mov[/quicktime] in the editor to embed the video.

Can someone explain to me where I find the editor section on my wordpress and what they mean by http://www.yoursite.com/path/file.mov between the [quicktime]

Yes, I’m horrible with learning how to use new plugins.
    THANKS!!!!!

    Pat

  • Alrighty.

Add a new post to your blog (Posts > Add New)
Click on the Add Media icon (next to where it says “Upload / Insert)
Choose your Quicktime file and upload it.
Once it’s uploaded, copy or make a note of the “Link URL” (ie the http://www.yoursite.com/etc/etc/etc.mov)

Go back to the post editor, just type:
    [quicktime]http://www.yoursite.com/etc/etc/etc.mov[/quicktime]

Your post editor is, errr, where you write your posts of course.

When I try to upload the video under my media icon…it says I’m only allowed 8M for uploading. My video is 15.5. Is it still possible to upload the video?

FTP the video then instead if it’s too large. Either that or try and reduce the size of the video if you can.

One last question….is it possible to make the video look bigger on my site? The video is kinda hard to see.
