Very strange problem reading posts (7 posts)

    Can anyone tell me what's going on here?
    Go to http://www.urbanredneck.org/index.php?cat=3 and see the category with a single post, about The Great Greenwich Village Pubcrawl of 1987. It's a long article, so this morning I tried splitting it up with the <!--more--> tag. This broke something, apparently.
    The '(moreā€¦)' link itself is http://www.urbanredneck.org/index.php?p=3#more-3
    This takes you to a strange screen, my renamed 'General' category, except that it says the category is empty (which is not true, just click the 'Current Events' category in the sidebar). In any case you don't get the post.
    The link for the post itself, http://www.urbanredneck.org/index.php?p=3 , gives you the same result.
    WTF?

    Is it supposed to work like this?

    Any thoughts from the night crowd?

    That's strange. Are you still able to edit the article? What happens when you remove the "more" tag?

    Do you have any code to prevent certain categories from showing up on the default index.php (or main blog page)? It looks like p=3 belongs to a category that wp-blog-header.php does not allow without specific mention of the category.
    For example, this will show the whole p=3 article:
    http://www.urbanredneck.org/index.php?p=3&cat=3
    Hope this gives you some insight.
    Peace

    You could do something like:
    <?php
    if (!isset($cat) && !isset($p))
    $cat = 1;
    ?>
    That would force a category only when there is no $p defined (as well as $cat not defined)

    Hey, thanks, that worked fine!
