• This is a new one on me…

    On one of my WP sites I just tried adding an image to a page via the Upload/Insert button. Everything looks like it’s working okay, but the image doesn’t show up.

    When I take a look at the HTML code I see this:

    <img class=" fjlgnucqgsgdabpcbzfa fjlgnucqgsgdabpcbzfa" src="http://www.wealthquestforteens.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/banners/WQ_banner_728x90.gif" alt="" />

    What is that strange class name that’s been inserted? I also tried uploading the images via FTP, then going to HTML and adding the image to the page just by putting in the HTML code and the correct path to the image. Same thing– it changes the code I put in automatically and adds that weird class to the image. Any thoughts on what’s happening here? I’m baffled.

    I’m running WP 3.31 and using Headway 3.0.4.

    Thanks!

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
