   hello friends. its very nice to have a wonderful system like wordpress, that works like a charm, and even better having this support forum to post some questions.

   would like to know how i can develop a very light version of my wordpress blog, for those who have dial-up (i know its dinossaurs like)... but many people here in Brazil still uses it...

   my wordpress (www.noticiasautomotivas.com.br) home page must have some 15 news about cars, including at least one pic each... this turns into 150 kb easily, so it must be putting these dial-up guys away from my site...

   i would like to have a shortcut and a link on my blog, like mywebsite.com.br/light-version or something like that, that people would use to enter directly and view the news.....

   they would see a very simple page, like this:

   NOTICIAS AUTOMOTIVAS
   (link) news 1, etc etc
   (link) news 2, etc etc
   (link) news 3, etc etc
   (link) news 4, etc etc

   all this without my website logo, without pics, without the sidebar, without everything.... then, when clicking the links, they would go to the regular single.php....

   Just download or make a light theme and install Theme Switcher to allow people to choose what theme they want to use.

   There's a "No images" category at the theme site I linked to. Any of those would do. ;)
