Our website has not been running for a few years, and we haven't archived off anything. So it's gotten very large. We are at 3.5GB size, and 140K revisions!!
Now I tried to delete the revisions but MySQL went away...so does anyone have any tips or pointers that can help us firstly reduce the size, as I believe this is our main speed problem, and maybe to look at archiving off previous years' articles into their own database maybe or some other solution.
