• Hey guys, I google and keep seeing mention of a builtin – versioning system for posts and pages in WordPress.

Well, I’m on wordpress 3.3 and I have absolutely no versioning that i can see. There is no place i can see previous versions of a page or a post — i’ve looked all over.

If there’s something I’m missing please let me know. I’m happy to show screenshots if needed.

Does this version control feature actually exist?

  • I’m assuming you’re thinking of revisions. To view that, go to a post, up top there’s a link called Screen Options, click that and under that there should be an option for Revisions. Once that is selected, you can view the revisions of each post under the editor.

    I love you.

but seriously, thanks so much! Why isn’t this enabled by default?
