I haven’t seen any change in any of the blogs that I manage. As mentioned above, is Akismet active on your blog?

No, I’m not using Akismet because formerly I had big problems with it (accurate comments were filtered without even informing me).
But maybe it’s time to “plug it in” again :-(.
Now I have a clue. Obviously my plugin “math comment spam protection” doesn’t work with WP Version 3. I deactivated it and now have Akismet running.

Akismet is built on a learning engine, so as long as you mark false-positives as “not spam” and false-negatives as “spam,” it will learn and improve.

Hi folks,
I’m using WordPress for a long time now. A few days ago I upgraded to Thelonious. Almost immediately I was flooded with SPAM comments (about 100 a day). You must know, I have a rather small blog, and through the years I had constantly very few SPAM comments (maybe 1 in two weeks).
My question is: Do other WP users experience the same since their upgrade?
Just my thoughts.
