Can you be more specific? What is the error? WP to Twitter 2.8.2 changes are very minor, and wouldn’t be expected to cause significant delays.
If I disable the plugin I can update a post without any problems. If is Enable the plugin after about a minute I get this error:
“Forbindelsen mistet. Der bliver ikke gemt noget, før forbindelsen genoprettes. Vi tager backup af dette indlæg i din browser. Bare for at være på den sikre side.”
Translate to “Connection lost. Saving has been disabled until you’re reconnected. We’re backing up this post in your browser, just in case.”
The browser will continue to update and after 2-3 minutes the update is complete. I have had disabled all other plugins and this is the one that has the problem.

btw everything else is up to date in terms of WP & plugins.
So, the problem is that posting to Twitter is taking far too long, causing the WordPress Heartbeat API to think that your connection is lost.
That may require some custom debugging; can you send a support request using the in-plugin support form so I can follow up with more information?
