Version 2.4.6: Form sends but no "Your Email Sent" confirmation (8 posts)

    Hello,
I've been using Contact Form 7 for a year with no problems. Today, I upgraded to 2.4.6. Now, the form still works (and I receive the email.) However, there is no "Thanks. Your Email was Sent" confirmation at the bottom of the page near the "send" button. Instead, the page seems to continue to load infinitely. This makes the page appear broken to the user.

    I searched the forums...
I tried creating a new form from scratch and implementing it on the page.
    I tried downgrading to 2.4.3.
I also tried moving the <?php wp_footer(); ?> to top of the footer file (instead of the Bottom). None of these things worked.

I'm at a loss here. I am no WordPress or PHP expert so any help is very appreciated.

    Currently using Chrome.

    Thank you,
    R

Maybe a conflict issue. Try deactivating all plugins and switching to the default theme.

I had a similar problem. It seemed to be related to the File Upload part of the form.

I upgraded Contact Form 7 Plugin from Version 2.4.2 to 2.4.6 which fixed the issue.

Same exact problem experienced here. I have been using Contact Form 7 for two years with no problem. The problem was first reported to me on Aug-24-2011.

    I'm on 2.4.6.

Deactivating other plugins did not work.

JON is 100% right. If I remove the File Upload part of the form - it works and I get the "your message has been sent" message.

I have removed it for now. Since I do need attachments for this form in the long term, I may end up using a different plug-in unless anyone has any fixes/ideas.

Thanks so much for the responses.

I have the same problem and don't understand this solution. Where did you remove that part of the form from? Thank you for your help.
