    I upgraded to version 2.1.9. The slider then went to heck. The font changed and went to some courier looking thing. The slider shrunk and no longer fits nicely within its borders. The link to “Read Testimonials” that was on every single slider is gone, except when you move the cursor to the bottom right corner of a slider and then it somehow appears but then when you move your cursor, it disappears.

    The whole thing looks hideous.

    I would love to change it back to the older version which was working fine. Anyone know how to do this?

    Better yet, how is this fixed?

    Very frustrated. Please help.

    I may delete the plug in and not use it again if this isn’t immediately fixed.

    I also just noticed the alt tags have disappeared.

    Ugh

    Alt tags have not disappeared – I have checked and they are still available. I will be pushing out v2.2.0 today of the Pro version that fixes the shrinking slider bug. It should resolve the issue you are having.

    I just upgraded and cleared the cache. None of the problems are fixed. Same issues. Any other thoughts on addressing this?

    Can you provide me a link so I can debug?

    Looks like everything looks good from here!

    Thomas, not sure why you think that. Nothing is fixed. All of the issues I have identified above are still a problem. If you are unable to address it, let me know so I can replace Soliloquy with something else.

    It doesn’t appear that the slides have any links associated with them. I would click on the “i” icon for each image and ensure that they Image Hyperlink field is filled out with the URL you want to go to when an image is clicked.

    As for the font, that customization is set in your style.css file, so somebody customized it and it is working properly.

    In the Config settings, set the slider position to none and then remove this from your style.css (L665) file to allow the slider to fit inside the borders (again, this was a customization done to your theme, not Soliloquy):

    #home-slider .slider { padding: 0; }

    Sure. That must be why everything was working fine and exactly as it should before the Soliloquy update was made…of course, it must not be Soliloquy that’s the problem and I am sure the fact that it happened exactly when I hit the update must be a coincidence. Thanks for your help. I won’t be using your product much longer. You can close this thread.
