Floating Social Bar
Version 1.1.1 Has Too Much Space Between Icons (4 posts)

The spacing was good in a previous version that would not float on posts without comments. Version 1.1.1 fixed the floating problem, but now there is too much space between some of the icons so they wrap onto a second and ugly line at http://testblog.lpl.pm/facilisis-tempus-sem/

    Lane,

The spacing has not been changed at all. It's been the same on older versions.

The issue there is with the length of the title. This is a horizontal share bar which limits us in the number of social services you can show in one line.

    Possible solutions:

    1. Shorten the Title. If you make it Share: then it will work.
    2. Decrease the number of buttons being displayed.
    3. Override the plugin CSS from your theme's CSS file to make it fit your specific needs.

In case you're not seeing what I'm seeing, I recorded this screenshot.

Hey, I just looked at the page again, and the spacing was good when the page first loaded. Then it switched to the bad arrangement shown in the screenshot.

I refreshed the page, and it came up right again. I had to scroll up and down a few times before it shifted to the too-much-space version.

I upgraded to WP 3.6 a little while ago, and it may have produced a new problem in that only half of the bar displays when floating. This can be seen in this screenshot at my test site.

    Lane,

Regarding only half the bar displays when floating, this is because you are logged in and have the admin bar being shown.

Logged out users will see the full-bar.

Not sure why the spacing is getting messed up on your site. I would like to see a live version to check.
