Verio hosted blog loads slow on initial load (1 post)

    Verio hosted blog loads slow on initial query. 30-60 seconds. Okay on subsequent loads.

    Version of WordPress is their current 3.0.4. Verio doesn't support WP though they provide it. Have talked to them many times and they don't know how to resolve slow load.
    Theme is Atahualpa.
    Any help is appreciated.
