Ver 1.9.13 gallery updates extremely slow (2 posts)

I am finding that my gallery updates are taking an extraordinarily long time to complete.

I specifically experience the slowness when I copy the default "Alt & Title Text" (name automatically created from the file name of uploaded image) to the "Description" and add a custom name to the "Alt & Title Text." A page of 50 images can take up to 20 minutes.

I know that my NGG tables are large, so I have attempted to optimize my DB, but this seems to have little affect. I have also verified that my MySQL seems to be adequately optimize using both tuning-primer and mysqlprimer.

What can I try to speed this process up? Thanks in advance for any help given.

    Thanks
    Scott

Does anyone have any ideas on this or where I may be able to hire someone to assist? 2.0 issues are overwhelming this request. :)

    Thanks
