I create posts specifically for displaying in my sidebar by using a special category and selecting only that category, great plugin. You can see from BarTaste.com and ver 1.9 (I rolled back after upgrading to 1.10 & 1.11) I create the post in the text field using a heading for the title, an image, video, text and links which all look great. In the “What type of text to display” Option I have “The text of the content” selected.

After upgrading to 1.10 “The text of the content” no longer displays the heading text and my image or links, only text. Switching to “The full content” displays everything but now also shows all of the Share buttons produced by the WordPress JetPack Sharing module before and after every post in the sidebar making it visually unpleasing, cluttered and extremely long. Those same buttons look fine in the regular posts as there is much more space than in the sidebar.

I would like to update and keep current but can’t because of the change in the way the posts are being displayed in the sidebar. Is there another way to do this or a workaround? Thanks
