Venue's informations aren't displaying

    My venue’s page isn’t showing any venue related informations (name, description, map is showing only default location).
    Events are displaying ok.

    Example

    Strange is I can show venue’s information on single event.
    I can even show information on taxonomy-event-venue.php but only when I use venues functions after
    <?php while ( have_posts()) : the_post(); ?>

    Hi Javllar,

    Yup this isn’t a bug, this is just how the default templates work (venue details only appear if there are events present). This will be changing in 1.7:

    • See this ticket
    • Also, this thread, which includes a snippet on how to get the venue details outside of <?php while ( have_posts()) : the_post(); ?>
