[resolved] Vegas Slider not working on some interior pages on this site (5 posts)

Hi there, me again.... I've gotten the slider working on most of this site, but a couple interior pages don't appear to be displaying the background despite using the same shortcode as pages that do have the slider working.

    Working:
    staging.sarahwefald.com
    staging.sarahwefald.com/bio
    staging.sarahwefald.com/tour-dates
    staging.sarahwefald.com/contact

    Not working:
    staging.sarahwefald.com/news
    staging.sarahwefald.com/releases
    staging.sarahwefald.com/videos

(Please ignore the CSS stylings...still working those out)

Is there anything in a page template that would disable the slider?

    Thanks,
    Sarah

Sarah! It's good to have you back, I'll a better look at this issue later tonight when I get off work.

Few questions just to start. Now are you using the do_shortcode method in the header.php or are you using shortcodes in the individual pages OR are you using the global option on the settings page? I know I've looked at this site before I just can't remember...

Thanks, James! I removed the do_shortcode method in header.php in favor of using the shortcode in the page content, and Global is unchecked in the settings.

James, is there any quirk with the plugin that makes it break on any page that uses wp_query(); or query_posts();? Because that's what the pages not working on my site have in common...

Marking this as resolved -- this is an issue with the theme and not the plugin. Any custom template that uses query_posts(); will cause the plugin not to display the image. Remove the query_posts();, however, and it works very well.

Thank you for creating and supporting this plugin!
