   Upgraded from 2.5 to 2.5.1- did everything advised in extended upgrade steps. After upgrade, several plugins not functioning properly, and it seems to be having problems updating the database- simple changes are saved, but complex changes are not-- for example, if I use a short string of html in the "text" widget, it will save fine, but if I use a longer, more complicated string, it will not save. Same goes for posts- short posts work fine, but longer posts are truncated.

   Should I export my posts, etc, then delete my database, reinstall, and import my posts again? Or is it likely due to plugin incompatibilities with 2.5.1? My theme is a custom theme (blue-box-10), and I have edited the css, but I can't imagine that would be the problem (not likely that the theme would affect WordPress admin, is it?)...

   Any suggestions?

   On top of that, my sidebar has gone haywire as well, if I try to reorder the widgets, or if i add some extra widgets, it just doesn't save... Not sure what the problem is, originally I tried dumping the database and reinstalling (because I thought it might have been a database error), but it wouldn't let me upload my database! So i had to reinstall 2.5.1, then import my blog (luckily I exported it prior to all this...)

   Thinking of reinstalling 2.5 again and just updating the seurity fixes, in the hope that that might work for me... Any other ideas???
