WooCommerce Variation Details on Page Product
[resolved] Variation Details not displaying? (13 posts)

    Hi again,

I seem to have encountered the same problem as before: the variation information is not being displayed. I am using the latest version updated through WP.

When looking at the page source I can see a product_details div under product_meta, but there is not data inside it. (same as before)

I would like to provide more information but I haven't been able to find any more relevant information. Can you suggest how I can get more debug information so you can fix it?

The Product that you are trying to view, have you published it? I not, try publishing it and see what happens

Yup they have already been published. I have also tried turning on the visibility of attributes on the product page and it is the same. Any other ideas?

    Hello:

Are you sure that you are not using Custom Attributes?

I also would like to inform you both that a new version is in the foundry. Give me 2 days to finish it, and it will support Custom Attributes.

Yup I am quite sure. I have checked against the steps you show in your video and instructions.

Strangely the last time I sent a report I had the same problem, but when I checked again it worked so I thought it worked itself out. Now it's not working again hmm.

Previously you mentioned that I can now display only weight along (which is what I am doing) - that is still working yes?

    Hi SpeedyWP:

A new version was unleashed. Would you like to try and see if it helps you?
    Please, keep me updated.

    Hi,

I did the update successfully but it brought the entire site down. I can't even log in or see any page. Trying to get to any page gives this error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM in *MY WP PATH*/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-variation-details-on-page-product/classes/class-mp-wc-vdopp-settings.php on line 19

Am trying to get my site back up now

Sorry about that. Lets work to solve that. ;)

First thing to do is delete the plugin folder. It should all be good now.
Then, confirm your PHP version. I would guess it is lower than 5.3.

    There are several workarounds.
    Will make a release ASAP.

It should be fine now. Would you mind to give it a second chance?

Same since the 3.01 upgrade the variations are no longer displaying on the product page. I have tried changing the product attributes size slug to '2_litre' and adding the variations again but still nothing.

    Hi Dave:

I just realized that I forgot to add javascript minified version to SVN. You can simply deactivate > remove and add again the plugin.

It should all be fine now.

    Hi Marco,

You're right, the PHP version on my host is lower than 5.3.

The latest version works great! Thanks for your enhancements! This should definitely be basic functionality in WooCommerce.

Thank you SpeedyWP for notify me that there were issues on older versions of PHP. I wasn't happy with the previous implementation either, so that solved my problem.

I'm happy that you've liked this new version, and I hope that these new features help others to extend the plugin to meet their needs.
