Variable image header

    I have got round the problem of having a different header image on each static page by using Weaver 2.2.6 theme. That allows me to easily switch on or off the basic Header image. Using the Dynamic Headers by Nicasio Design plugin, I can choose to substitute the selected Weaver header image with a different image on each page. The problem with that comes with the site I am building which will have a few hundred pages.
    What would be nice would be to substitute the Weaver header image with a slide show style plug in so that I don’t have to alter settings on every page yet still get variety in respoect of the displayed header images.
    I haven’t been able to find anything that would do this yet. Has anyone any suggestions please?
