    Hello there,

yesterday I was setting up my website. I used a child theme of the Vantage theme.
This morning I tried to open my website but just a blank page showed up. I couldn't even login.
So I contacted my hostcompany (one.com) and they say that the Vantage-theme was corrupted.

    True?
Could anyone please inform me about this?

    Thanks!

    Vantage-theme was corrupted.

No one here would have any info about your site.

    Have you gotten it working?

    No, it's not working anymore.
My site is http://www.glaskas.be but now it looks awful.

Right now you have origami theme active on your site. Start by deactivating all plugins and switching to twentythirteen theme.

    I did that.
Do you suggest to work with another theme than Vantage or could I possible reinstall the Vantage-theme?

    thanks

    bad idea...
The Vantage theme is corrupted. When reinstalling it, following message appears on my screen:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare vantage_register_custom_background() in /customers/0/e/c/glaskas.be/httpd.www/wp-content/themes/vantage/functions.php on line 105

Could someone solve this? The author of this theme?

I just installed that theme on a test site and don't seem to have any problems with it.

Do you still have the child theme in your themes folder? Does it have a copy of the functions.php file in it from the parent theme (it shouldn't)?

Or are you using the premium version of the theme?

    hello WPyogi,

Yes, I still have the child theme in my themes folder. BUT you're right! there was a copy of the functions.php in it! Don't know how that file came there...
So, I guess it's working again now.
    Thanks for your help!
