Once again my validation problem: my site (www.early-stone.de/ala/) is not valid XHTML, since WordPress always automatically wraps p-tags around h3-headings?

Why does WP automatically add those p-tags and how can I prevent it from doing so?

I would be glad about some helpful comments. Thx.

Interesting - it doesn't for me.

  3. You're running a beta build of WordPress. Upgrade to the latest Nightly Build.

I updated to the most recent Nightly Build, but it isn't working though. I just can't explain why WP wraps p-tags arounf headings. If anyone knows an answer to the problem, please help me. thx

  5. I think the point here is that you're the only reporting this issue. The rest of us have no trouble with validation out-of-the-box, nor have we seen the behavior which you describe.

No, I think the point is that you're not using extra heading-tags on your site. Try it and you gonna see that it's same on your page. Nevertheless thanks that you cared about the problem.

  7. Actually, if you want to share your problem with someone who might care, do it the proper way: http://mosquito.wordpress.org/main_page.php

I got the solution. It was Textile. I disabled Textile and now use Markdown instead and voila it's working.

  9. Glad you got it fixed. For future reference, it's hard to tell what is wrong if you don't supply us with a URL.
