    I'm trying to go through my validation report, but am feeling kind of overwhelmed. Here's the report:

    The most crucial error seems to be document type does not allow element "body" here. I tried interpreting this in English, and I search around on Google, but to no avail. Anybody have an pointers?

    Here is the offending error:

    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN"
    "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
    <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en" lang="en">

    <body>
    <?php get_header(); ?>

    <div id="wrapper">

    Fixed it. Seems like the <body> tag needed to be somewhere in the header. I just fixed that and like 60 other errors after about six hours of confused labor, but I now have a valid XHTML page. Hurray!
