I am working on a theme for v1.5. This is my first time playing with the new version, and I must say I'm impressed.

Take a look at this, and then hit me with whatever advice or comments you may have. This theme is a mish-mash of the Kubrick, Grass, and my own template on my 1.2.2 blog.

Very clean looking. At a glance, I think I might like to see a bit more space buffering between the columns. Other than that, looks great so far.

Thanks for the feedback. I did add about 10 pixels' worth of space between the two columns, and you are right - it does look better.

Very easy on the eye. I don't have to squint!

    Good job!

If you saw this earlier, you should go back and check.

If I release this theme, I'll replace the header graphic with something more general.

    I get a 404 not found error...

Sorry about that; I upgraded to 1.5b1. All should be working now.

eragle: I might keep working on the 3 column version and release it later, if a lot of people feel as you do.

I suspect you might feel that way because there really aren't any 3-column themes for 1.5 yet.

Nice...and the layout doesnt break when you increase text size in the browser... and that has to be good from an accessibility point of view.

I think that big picture is pushing the menu down though.

And jd if you wanted to email me a copy of that 3 columns I wouldn't be offended. :)

It isn't finished, but if you'd like to pick it apart and customize it, go right ahead.

Send me an e-mail; I'll reply with a .zip ASAP.

Also, I'd be curious to know what you finally do with it. Let me know when you finish, okay?
