UTW tag intersection not working

It seems tag intersection (i.e. /tag/tag1+tag2) suddenly broke on my site… I tried installing the new version, which supposedly fixes the issue, but have had no luck. The forum for the plugin has not been too helpful either. Is anyone else reporting this problem, and is there a solution handy?
