[resolved] UTF-8 encoding in PHP theme files not passed on rendering (2 posts)

    Hello,

It appears that since version 3.1.4, text that is part of design and that is inside PHP theme files loses its encoding during rendering process.

This is a non-English text and PHP files that contain it are encoded in UTF-8. It is inserted in header.php of the Twenty Ten theme.

    Thank you!

Have no idea what's going on, but non-English text that used to be replaced with "?" marks after the upgrade, now auto-magically displays correctly once again.
