Using WP 'duplicate' feature causes redirect error

Hello,

I have 2 issues that are related…

I used the the WP ‘Duplicate’ feature under the page because I wanted to make a copy (for split testing purposes).

It’s the first time I’ve used the feature and now what has happened is the the original page redirects to the new page.

I cannot figure out why this is happening.

So now what I did is delete the new page…but the original is still redirecting. (it of course now goes to a 404 because I deleted the new one).

Can anyone offer any help on this?
