Hello,
I am new to this forum and WordPress.
I intend to integrate WordPress into an existing site. The only problem I have is that the existing site has html pages and a directory structure:
http://www.domain.com/page.html
and
http://www.domain.com/dir/page.html
I want to make those existing pages be a part of WordPress and follow its template. I know that I can publish pages but they will be something like http://www.domain.com/page/ - I use Permalinks - /%postname%/
Is there a way to configure WordPress to create custom URLs such as page.html?
Thank you.

Hello again,
I want to request paid help on this problem. Please if anyone can help me mail me and we can discuss it.
Thank you.
no-one can email you since you did NOT provide an email address.
From the forum rules:
E: Paying for services
Requesting paid help is discouraged. We do not want to give any impression that WordPress help is anything but free. We also do not need bidding wars in the forums.
If you have posted some contact information your thread will be closed.
If you have not posted that information we will ask you to and when you do the thread will be closed.
Any thread that offers any service for money can be closed at any time. We are not against paid services but these forums are not the right place for them.
We have a WP-Pro mailing list which you are encouraged to use.

So, as whoo mentioned, leave a way to be contacted please.

I know that paid support is not the way to do it. I am not familiar with programming, however I've started to learn how to modify and customize WordPress.
I really have to ask for this kind of help. Please contact me at mirceaquestion@yahoo.com to discuss future details on how can we collaborate.
Thank you and thanks WordPress team for making this great piece of software.
