    Hey everyone,

    Look at this:

We've implemented a "Cover Flow" like way to navigate through all of the articles. Tell me what you guys think of it!

More color, otherwise it's very nice.

It's very nice looking, lots of interesting layout and features.

    Main criticisms:

    1) Hard to read the white text against light grey

    2) the use of the photograph carousel thingy is tres cool, but it doesn't work if javascript is disabled. You might think about putting a <noscript> notice in the code so users with javascript automatically disabled (a lot of Firefox users with the NoScript plugin) know that they have to enable javascript to get to certain content

    3) I appreciate the discipline of making a site entirely in grey and black, but perhaps one splash or two of color (logo or something) would make the austerity look more effective, and less like your crayon box was completely empty.

Other than that, seriously, it looks great, layout and navigation are very cool. Nice jazzed up WordPress site, and good demonstration of using WordPress as a magazine!

thanks so much! it really helps.

We'll use a different color for our next issue. Usually we keep it to a minimum so it looks professional and clean, but adding other colors would be good idea too.

For the <noscript> notice, would you just simply put it directly after the script? like this:

    <noscript>You must have javascript enabled</noscript>

Oh, and does anyone have any suggestions about promoting a magazine like this?

    Thanks

As far as I know, you can put it in the body -- anywhere you want the notice to appear if javascript is disabled, and the message can be anything you like between the tags.

Lots of info on Google about this.
