Using WordPress to create an Order Quote/Proposal (4 posts)

    Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction.

At the moment we create a detailed Proposal/Quote for our new clients using iPages. Which I know isnt very efficient.

Reason is quite simply, our quotes are detailed it isnt just listing of lines of items. We have lots of text explaining the proposal, areas that identify clients current issues etc which are dynamic but taken from a resource of possible options.

I guess Im asking if this is possible to re-create using Worpdress as an extension to our site?? I am currently looking into using Filemaker but it hit me that this could be a great idea?

Essentially our proposal is split into the following section ( where I have put dynamic means it needs content from a specific collection)

    - Introduction
    - About Us
    - Clients Current Issues - Dynamic
    - Project Specification - Dynamic
    - Management
    - Quote - Dynamic Prices and Services
    - Case Studies
    - Terms & Conditions

I know this sounds like an odd idea but If i can get this to work on the website as an order quote system using wordpress I think it would be really slick.

BTW if there is anyone out there wishing to develop a paid module to do this please let me know.

    THanks

Freshbooks is an awesome invoicing service, Gravity Forms is an awesome WordPress plugin for creating forms, and Gravity Forms is so awesome it has an add-on for Freshbooks.

These both cost a bit of money, but way less than your time or that of a developer to create a custom plugin :)

    Hi there,

    Thanks for your thoughts.

To be honest I don't mind paying for a quality plugin to be made that is tailored to our exact needs.

I'm sure you'll find a talented developer on WP Jobs, but don't doubt the awesomeness of Freshbooks and Gravity Forms ;)
