I am in the process of designing a 3-column website dealing with my travels, photography, and digital art. I would like the center column to contain a WordPress blog. Each month I would like to archive the previous month's single page, with its blog. The blog will include 512-pixel-wide photos or paintings. Before I download my WordPress, I wanted to know if there will be any difficulty with this and how I might go about doing it. I understand from FAQs that my website code can be inserted into the WP code, but can I isolate it to the center-most of three columns in my layout. I do not want to have to jump to a separate page for the blog. Thanks for your assistance or links to helpful info.

There is no difficulty if you know HTML, CSS, and some PHP.

Or you might consider downloading one of free themes

Thanks for the links.
Could someone take a look at this website I would like to emulate: http://www.linesandcolors.com ? It is a perfect example of the type of result I am looking for. Is this a theme that is available here at WordPress? Is it a theme that is provided by an open source? Can any of you tell if it is even a theme as opposed to a site with wordpress embedded in the center column. I have read the html in the source, but I'm not yet familiar with the ways of WordPress Blogs and themes.
Thanks again,
Pat
