   hi my site was created for me using wordpress as the cms backend, i now want to create a blog and host it on dreamhosts where my site resides. There is a one click install for wordpress at dreamhosts, will this wipe over my site? can i have two wordpress apps there? or am i barking up the wrong tree? all this stuff makes my brain hurt thanks for looking

   No problem you can have two wordpress installations on one web host like:
   1- http://www.mysite.com
   2- http://www.mysite.com/blog
   Both directories can have wordpress installed, if you have already installed wordpress on http://www.mysite.com then you can setup your blog on http://www.mysite.com/blog directory
   Wordpress MU is quite flexible to hold many installations on one host
