Using WordPress for a commercial site

    What are the rules for using WordPress on a site with paid-for advertising, make-a-donation, etc?

    I’ve scoured the WP site for answers to this and it appears that WordPress is 100% free to use… but I want to be sure before I start building out my WordPress-driven site as a revenue generator.
