Using WordPress as CMS and Blog

    From listening to the interview with Matt & Jeremy Zawodny, WordPress is moving into the CMS/enterprise environment.

    If you wanted to use WordPress as a CMS and blog would you create two installs on the same site?

    No. Most people who use WordPress as both just use pages for the CMS part and posts for the blog part and then they get creative with their themes. (At least, this is the way I usually set them up for people.)

    How do you run a different theme for a different directory?

    So are you recommending to name a category as the blog? Then adjust a theme to show blogroll, etc only in that directory?

    You can get creative with the styling of multiple “views”.. Please google the Mimbo theme.. It does a great job of using WordPress as a light-CMS..
