Using the mediaelement.js plugin with the quicksand filter (2 posts)

    Hello,

    I'm using the mediaelement.js plugin to build an audio portfolio. The plugin works great, but I ran into a little trouble when I added the Quicksand plugin to filter and sort the audio samples.

    http://razorjack.net/quicksand/docs-and-demos.html

    Quicksand clones objects and requires a callback function to apply any enhancements on newly cloned objects. As it stands the player works until I filter the list of items. Once it's filtered I see an empty player (Firefox) or the player with buttons that do not function (Chrome, Safari).

    Can anyone help me create a callback function to activate the player?

    I'm testing WordPress 3.6 which has built-in mediaelements.js. I used the following where my quicksand container has class 'filterable-grid':

    enhancement: function() {
      jQuery('.filterable-grid .wp-audio-shortcode').not('.mejs-container').not('.mejs-mediaelement > audio').mediaelementplayer();
    }

    This finds the "audio" tags in my grid and re-applies the mediaelementplay() script to those are missing it.

    I would expect something similar to work for this plugin.
