   Hi

   I have always developed my own child themes from a 'naked' theme. Now a new client is asking me to make a site for him from a Premium theme he has bought.

   This may be a bit of an obvious question but I just wanted to check - is it ok to create a child theme to adapt a Premium theme, or are you supposed to use them as they come?

   You should be able to do what you want with it. I've never came across any premium theme which doesn't allow you to alter it. Best check your theme suppliers terms and conditions I guess :)
