Support » Themes and Templates » Using Nivo Slider for header image in twenty eleven

  • I am trying to use NivoSlider on my home page instead of the header image currently there.
    I have installed WP Nivo Slider, configured it and uploaded my images.
    Now it tells me to put this in my template:
    <?php if (function_exists(‘nivoslider4wp_show’)) { nivoslider4wp_show(); } ?>

    What template and where? I am not a coder so I don’t have a clue.
    Sure hope someone out there can help me please.
    I appreciate your support!
    Thank you

    I am back and hoping someone can help. I actually went and purchased the Nivo Slider. I have installed and uploaded the images and all seems ok. My only issue is now, how do I put that slider into the home page to replace the header image that is there.
    There is now where in the Customize Header to select Nivo slider. I am given a code and slug link which I suspect is put into the header.php but I have tried it and it breaks my site.

    All I need to know is where EXACTLY does the code go?

    Thanks to anyone who can assist. I am at standstill right now.

    You can contact NivoSlider for support, as you’ve purchased their plugin.

    That’s another issue. I have posted for help but so far no response.
    Their video tutorials I follow just fine for putting slider into a page or post or widget…simple….but no directions on how to put in the slider header 🙁

    thanks anyway

    I’m sorry, but we don’t support commercial plugins.
