using name-based permalinks with Asian characters?

I’m trying to use name-based pretty permalinks with titles that are in Korean. /%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/
When I click a link, the address bar won’t take into account the title (which is in the url because I can see it when I just rollover), so the address bar just displays the date. The result is that it acts as if it were an archive and displays the post of that date but without the comment box or comments.
Does anyone know how to use pretty urls with Japanese, Chinese or Korean characters?
