Using my own domain (4 posts)

I own a domain and want to use it for my wordpress site. I've asked before but got a bunch of suggestions about moving all my files to sub-directories and stuff. If that's the only way to do it, then I guess I'll have to.
When I forward my domain to my IPaddress the IP address still remains in the browser window after the page has loaded. I want people to type in my domain, be directed to my site, be able to use my pages (myDomain.com/about, etc.), and have my domain remain in the browser bar.

    Any help will be appreciated.
    Thanks.

Then where do I forward my domain too? The IP that was provided by my hosting company?

Where ever your domain is (could be your hosting company or who you paid for registering it) you would go there and point the name servers to the nameservers at your host.
