Looking for another way to insert slide shows in posts/pages besides the shortcode ([meteor_slideshow slideshow="portfolio"]) so I can use Foliopress.
I love meteor_slideshow and use it on multiple sites. The one challenge is that I build sites for small business owners, allowing them to then go in and edit their own sites via WordPress. Obviously most of them do not understand any code, and the WordPress default WYSIWYG causes problems converting my HTML to Visual, and vice-versa. Foliopress is a much smoother system and we'd like to start implementing that plugin. But still need to use meteor-slides.
Foliopress won't recognize the shortcodes for images, including Meteor Slides. I see how to insert the php code into the templates and headers, but is it possible to do so within the post or page itself? What would a sample of that code be, including modifying the meta-data (i.e.: I normally insert the shortcode similar to: [meteor_slideshow slideshow="index" metadata="height:'225', width:'550', fx:'fade', timeout:'1000'"])
Another great feature would be to add a "Insert" button above the editor similar to how you insert images, FV Flowplayer, Etc. for future updates.
