   I know this question has probably been asked before, but how do you get IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) characters to show in posts? All I get when I copy and paste the code in for these characters is question marks.

   Are you using the character codes like ä and the html editor?

   As far as I know, that is the only way.

   Sorry, could you give an example of how you would use it? Would it be something like:

   <p>ä(IPA characters)ä</p>
