   Hello

   I'm wanting to write film reviews on a non-commercial blog, is it acceptable to use images from film stills or posters (say taken from a film's website) in my own review post. Or does this infringe on copyright?

   yes, usually it does.

   I did a bit of googling and in most cases that's correct.

   But if it's on an educational basis (which luckily mine is) then you can claim 'fair usage'.

   btw, Im not saying this is applicable to you, but being non-commercial doesn't make you educational :P
