Since I upgraded to WordPress 3.1.1 I have had issues on a few of my sites with the 'ctrl+B' key crashing the wordpress editor. Clicking the icon is fine, but if I use the shortcut tehn I can continue to write, but changes will not be saved, and I cannot revert away from bold (Pressing any other icons does nothing).

I don't mind clicking the icon, but I thoug tyou guys should know aout the issue!

  2. More data, please :)

Browser, OS, and are you using any TinyMCE plugins?

No tiny MCE plugings, occuring on Firefox 3 & 4 as well as chrome, occuring on several wordpress installs including vanilla, sorry for the long response time, was in Mexico!

  4. Windows?

I can't reproduce it, mind you...

    Exactly the same here. Windows 7, Firefox 4, WordPress 3.1.2 & 3.1.3.

It's giving to my nerves as I am always eager to use keyboard shortcuts. Pressing Ctrl+B or Ctrl+I does what exactly oli4uk says.

    Cheers,

    Bill

It's likely an issues with FireFox, but I couldn't begin to say what. Try hitting ctrl-i on other pages and see what happens.
