• I’m using the AntiLeech plugin to try to stop a couple of websites scraping my entire RSS feed.

The plugin attempts to identify User Agents that are accessing my RSS feed so it can block those that are republishing it them from seeing my content.

However in order to choose which User Agents to block I need to know how to identify which websites are behind which User Agent.

Can anyone give me any advice on how to do that, or links to sites that might give me more information?

  • Did you ever get your question answered? Also, have you been able to get antileech to work? I’m using it w/ 2.7.1, but it’s not mucking up the rss feeds that I have selected.

No I didn’t. I tried using the plugin anyway, but discovered it was displaying the spam message to legitimate users, so I stopped using it. I understand others have been able to use it successfully, but no joy for me.
