   Hi forum,

   i have already a page online but i need to translate it.. In order to try the translation plugins i have done a copy of the page in wamp..

   When i login in my localhost to the admin panel it redirects me to the online domain.. I need to acces the panel of the localhost version to the online version.. Can this be done?

   Ok..

   In settings > general what url should y put

   Can i put 127.0.0.1?

   What i need is a version of the online site in my local pc in order to try things out.. The online version has to be always be online and maintained through the panel..

   So is like having two websites.

   Hello gasuco,
   Have you tried,.. if this could be the issue:
   http://localhost/phpmyadmin/
   & under database >> wp_options>>

   Options Name on top keep:
   http://localhost/

   on option_value clicking on edit.

   and when you login to wordpress admin,

   Go to>> settings>> General>>
   WordPress Address (URL):http://localhost
   Site Address (URL): http://localhost

   if i do what you say will the admin of the official online page work??
